Mission Statement

The Hardy County Planning Office is committed to providing the highest level of Professional planning services. We will accomplish this through employees who anticipate public needs, and promote a work environment that encourages creativity, communication and cooperation. The office will also encourage professional development and training for all staff members.

The Hardy County Planning Office has adopted a “Mission Statement” and “Core Values”. 

This Mission Statement and accompanying Core Values are reflected in this work plan. Planning Office Core Values are through A.C.T

The meetings will be held in the Planning Office, in the Courthouse, starting promptly at 7:00PM, unless notice of a change has been posted. The media and public are welcome to attend. Any person desiring to address the Planning Commission must contact the Planning Office no later than three (3) days prior to the meeting at the telephone number/address below.
